Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Full Brow Sugaring.
A Full Brow Sugaring session usually takes about 15–30 minutes, including consultation and shaping. Time varies based on hair density, desired shaping, and any follow-up touch-ups required; we prioritize precise, comfortable results.
Most clients experience mild discomfort rather than sharp pain. Sugaring is gentler than wax because it adheres to hair not skin, reducing irritation. We use soothing aftercare and adjust technique to minimize sensitivity for delicate brow areas.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows and avoid exfoliating, retinoids, or tanning for at least 48 hours. Aim for 1/8–1/4 inch hair length for optimal removal. Tell us about medications or skin treatments that could increase sensitivity beforehand.
Most clients see regrowth starting around four to six weeks, depending on hair cycle and individual growth rates. With regular sugaring appointments, hair often grows back finer and sparser, extending the time between sessions.
Certain medications, especially isotretinoin (Accutane) and some topical retinoids, increase skin fragility. If you're using these or recent dermatologic treatments, we may require physician clearance or delay service to prevent injury. Always disclose medications during booking.
Avoid heavy makeup, heat exposure, saunas, and vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and a soothing, alcohol-free moisturizer or aloe vera. Exfoliate lightly after 72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth brow contours.
